Good day, lovely friends!
First of all, I want to thank every one of you who sent anniversary wishes to hubby and I last week!
We treasured each comment (which were like special hugs to us) and truly felt your love! Thank you! xoxo

It's been so busy here at Heaven's Walk lately with all the canning and juicing and freezing,
that I thought I'd share some simply simple whites with you
on this wonderful "White Wednesday at Faded Charm!"
A slubby vintage linen dresser scarf beneath an old canning jar filled with wildflowers.
Enamelware canister set.
A treasured old side table with a French-inspired clock and a favorite little vintage fan.
WHAT???!!!!
How did THAT get in here???
Ok....just forget you saw that photo....UGH!
Back to white stuff that we really love!
Seagulls staged to sing (or maybe line dance...?)
Sugar white sand as far as the eye can see...
A big, beautiful shell with a big, not-so-beautiful price tag.
A sweet porch swing on a shady front porch.
Sparkling white waterfall.
And pretty white peonies.
Have a blessed day full of simple white splendor!
{Hugs!}

ReplyDeleteI love your porch swing. I have always wanted one... remember swinging at my G'mas growing up.
ReplyDeleteGot a chuckle out of your seagull choir ready to sing!
Have a good week,Annette
Laurie,
ReplyDeleteLoved your pretty blog post. My 1st visit with you. Cute pix of snow...like your sense of humor. We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats. I am with the humane association, the garden club and the library book club. We'd love to retire where it's warm too. We live in Illinois. Please visit my blog sometime, check out my flowers, home and furry critters.
Nice to meet you,
sincerely

Good Morning Sweet Laurie. Here it is the middle of the night. MyHero's emergency beeper went off and he is out the door...and here I sit...coming in here to calm down and listen to your restive music...okay...I come to read what's up too. Anyway...now I am REALLY hyped up...You posted a picture of SNOW!!!! It's August and you are draming of WINTER?!?! Yeah...well...What can I say except...BOOOOOO!
ReplyDeleteLoving your White Wednesday post (not counting the snow scene). And..the big shell is beautiful. Which reminds me..have you ever been to the Shell Factory in North Ft Myers? I think they used to have on closer to Sanibel too. I used to live about 3 minutes from the one in N Ft.Myers. Back then shells were dirt cheap and we used to laugh at the tourists that bought them (and the pink plastic flamingos, of course)-lol
I love your white enamel ware cannister set. If you see me carrying in an extra large suitcase when I come you better inventory your house before I leave. Speaking of which...I can't believe you and that DEBBIE CHICK are getting together again! Whazzzup with that? Do the boys stay up and drink MadDog HappyCat whilst the girls shop and talk and laugh?
Happy White Wednesday, my sweet friend-You did it again- Beautiful post- xxoo Diana

Hi there Laurie,
ReplyDeleteI love all of your wonderful photos, except for one: the SNOW! Yuck! I am so not looking forward to our long, cold Michigan winters! I really love your pretty white end table! And your porch swing and pillows look like the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! I've been busy with tomatoes, lots of tomatoes! Drying them in the food dehydrator, and tomorrow I will stew & can them. I think I will be dreaming of tomatoes tonight! I will share the berry cordial recipe soon. It's super easy! Basically fresh berries, sugar, & vodka!
First of all, thank you so much for your kind writings on my blogs. Your thank you's are much appreciated. People like you, are the reason I love doing my blog posts. :) Because I longed for this island too and never thought I would live here.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if that antique barn had ever been featured on a TV show. It has been quite a few years ago, but I saw one that looked like that. Two men traveled across the country, stopping at antique places they would find along the way. They filmed the interesting things they found, etc.
