Simply Simple Whites

Good day, lovely friends!

First of all, I want to thank every one of you who sent anniversary wishes to hubby and I last week!
We treasured each comment (which were like special hugs to us) and truly felt your love!  Thank you!  xoxo

It's been so busy here at Heaven's Walk lately with all the canning and juicing and freezing,
that I thought I'd share some simply simple whites with you
on this wonderful "White Wednesday at Faded Charm!"

A slubby vintage linen dresser scarf beneath an old canning jar filled with wildflowers.

Enamelware canister set.

A treasured old side table with a French-inspired clock and a favorite little vintage fan.

WHAT???!!!!

How did THAT get in here???
Ok....just forget you saw that photo....UGH!

Back to white stuff that we really love!

Seagulls staged to sing (or maybe line dance...?)

Sugar white sand as far as the eye can see...

A big, beautiful shell with a big, not-so-beautiful price tag.

A sweet porch swing on a shady front porch.

Sparkling white waterfall.

And pretty white peonies.

Have a blessed day full of simple white splendor!

To Faded Charm ~ with love from Heaven's Walk

Happy White Wednesday, my friends!

I'm keeping it sweet and simple today.

Yup. No blabbering on about my life or how hubby can really irk me get my goat sometimes or how my diet isn't going well because my body and my fat are really good friends now or why my mind not only wanders - it just sometimes leaves me completely...

Nope.  None of that.

Just some pretties from my home as I wandered around with my camera.

(It must'ave been one of those times my mind was wandering too...)

Hubby, of course, gave me 'the look' out of the corner of his eye like "she's got nothing better to do....?"
(Hey, just leave this mindless beach-chic to her wandering, ok?
She's got blogging to do!)

Ok.  See?  Here I am blabbering on like I said I wouldn't do.

So, in honor of White Wednesday with Kathleen at Faded Charm
enjoy the pure joy of pure white.

My 'simply summer' kitchen shelves...

My first French body pitcher I ever owned...from a new friend in France.

My summer fireplace mantel...

My yet-to-be-read Jeanne d'Arc magazine...

Yeah, I know...I know.  You're all just thinking "How in the world can she not open it up? I'd have that beauty devoured by this time!"
I'm just dyin' to sink into those pages and get to know Jeanne
....but just have not found the time yet!

(Possibly due to more mindless wandering....or me wandering around looking for my mind....?)

But I promise...I will...I will!

And last but certainly not least, the second French body pitcher in my new obsession,
...umm...collection (eBay treasure).

Seriously...can a gal have too many of these....?
I think not.

(I'm still pining away for one made of zinc, though...)

She, too, is from France and was mailed with a sweet note from Anne.

Blessings to you all on a beautiful White Wednesday!

A Little Bit of French

Gosh!  I almost forgot about "White Wednesday" over at Faded Charm today.
When did my life get so busy?
Or has it always been....?

I wanted to share with you my new love.

Yeah, another new love.
I've got a lot of'em....

I think you've seen her before, but she was just perfect for WW!

My sweetly feminine French body pitcher stands elegantly on the kitchen table greeting me every time I walk into the house.

Even silhouetted against the sunshine outside the French doors, she's beautiful.
I love her shape.

Filled with purpley blue delphiniums in front of my 'other' new love -
my "Wyeth blue" wicker chair,
the contrast of the white, blue, and aqua lifts my spirit every time I pass by.

Tinged with age, rusty, worn, and used for many, many years somewhere in the French countryside...

...but I love her still.

Sandy wicker, cloud white furniture, soft gray driftwood, blue delphiniums,
and an elegant white vintage French body pitcher.

God is good....life is good...and I am blessed.

Blessings to you on a wonderful White Wednesday!
